The Faculty of Theology and Philosophy was founded with in a new structural framwork in2002,while a number of its departments date back to the inception of the Science & Research Branch itself.The Faculty includes eleven departments with MA and PhD programmes,and a largnumber of its graduates are currently working in universities,research centersandadministratingoffices throughout the country.The Faculty has always endeavoured to raise the quality of education,in accordance with the approved frameworks of the High Council of Programmes with the help of prominent scholars.It has also tried to lead the researches and theses to meet the theoretical and practical needs of the country in relevant fields.
